Potomac fusion has products in four main technology areas:

	Technologies
		Visual Analysis - Potomac Fusion developed entity layout and visualization services for a number of intelligence efforts. Visualization over secure web services is a unique technology that PFI has developed and continues to enhance. These services provide entity matching, graph layout and data filtering. Visualizations are generated and rendered in a low-bandwidth optimized graph/layout format. These results may be retrieved by graphing engines or applications via secure web services.
		Data Fusion - Potomac Fusion has developed a variety of data fusion services that combine data from multiple sources, databases, messages, email, web sites, and Horizontal Fusion's Federated Search. Potomac Fusion is also developing a SOA framework for fusion to support real-time processing of information and detailed analysis of combined data.
		Content Management - Potomac Fusion has developed a suite of next-generation content management services that provide an analyst with improved power to filter, share, analyze, and report on identified concepts and entities.
		Cross Domain Solutions - Potomac Fusion has developed and integrated PL3 and PL4 Services. Potomac Fusion develops, integrates and supports NCES compliant security services and trusted gateway appliances.
	Products
		VID Visualization/Information Dominance (VID) project within the DoD OSD/NII Horizontal Fusion Portfolio and has not transitioned to the DKO-S Portal. The project was developed for US Army's Intelligence and Security Command, Ft. Belvoir and provides a services-oriented architecture for information analysis and visualization within a highly secure environment. Horizontal Fusion portfolio projects were challenged to develop components that implemented both role-based access controls and mandatory-based access controls, and as result, could be accredited beyond a PL3 level, supporting both Communities of Interest (COIs) and Cross Domain utilization. The VID project involved developing trusted web services, high degrees of integrity, data labeling and label aggregation in a web-services architecture.
		GEOINT MSS This is a follow-on project to the Omniview Data Integration System (ODIS). It has also been known as the GEOINT Mission Support System. This project is being built for military intelligence units to provide comprehensive target development folder management capabilities. Using the visualizations developed for the VID and the building on the original ODIS analytic tools, this system provides web-based, Community of Interest (COI) methods for collecting, analyzing, and publishing GEOINT products.
		ORTHON-Sensor Fusion System (O-SFS) This framework provides for real-time and non-real-time processing of intelligence information (sensor and human intelligence). It is understood that one company or group can not develop all the capability necessary to fuse the wildly diverse type of intelligence information. To accommodate the development of multiple techniques and algorithms, PFI is developing a fusion framework (actually two frameworks) for processing near or real-time information and for performing non-real-time analysis. The fusion framework allows different modules developed by different organizations to be plugged into this framework. The concept is similar to how free text is parsed, tagged and stored today. The near/real-time framework takes steps to optimize performance while the non-real-time framework allows for multiple threads and hypothesis to be developed. The end result is a flexible capability that can work with multiple fusion modules developed by different organizations to provide the best of breed capability to the DCGS community.
